Bryson City: Old-Fashioned Charm and Cool Mountain Air

There’s just something about taking a quiet weekend away to relax, isn’t there?

Are you an avid golfer looking for a way to enjoy your favorite hobby without baking under the late-summer sun? Head up into the mountains to enjoy the Blue Ridge Parkway Golf Trail!

The Blue Ridge Parkway is a scenic highway that winds throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains, taking you past stunning vistas and gorgeous views for all of its 546 miles. The Golf Trail is a series of golf courses that have banded together to provide the ultimate golfer getaway!

Play near beautiful waterfalls, fairways with fishing streams, hiking trails, and more. You’ll try out new courses everywhere from Virginia through to Cherokee, North Carolina. Lodging options include log homes, golf resorts, hotels, and just about anything you imagine.

Take Your ATV to Chattahoochee National Forest!

If your idea of a weekend getaway involves more time in the mud than it does plotting your tee times, Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest has OHV trails designed especially for you!

Take your Onslaught 550 EPS ATV out on designated trails and enjoy beautiful forests all around. Campsites are available, or you can choose to look into local hotels less than 10 miles from the park. Choose a resort with on-site dining options, or head into nearby Clayton to eat at the Wicked Pig BBQ… one of our favorite barbecue spots in Georgia!

Some of the trails designed for off-road vehicles do charge a daily fee, so make sure you take a look online before you head out!
