1. Hydration is Key

Heading out for a round or two of golf? You may think a single water bottle is all you need to stay refreshed, especially if you don’t plan to be out for long.

However, humidity will hit you harder than the heat, and South Carolina’s summer humidity is legendary. Bring one bottle of water for every hour you plan to be out, plus one extra. Try to ensure you drink at least eight ounces per hour — more if the temperature is already hot when you start.
